Thanks to all of my teachers.

Sensei John V. for bringing me back into the art. I don't miss the fire ant bites on my feet.  Wink
Sensei Scott - all of the strange looks let me know how bad my kata were and motivated me to get better.
Sensei Alex - for always being available for questions and pushing me to get better.
Sensei Hector - for teaching me that getting hit isn't all that bad.  Mits
Sensei Jay - for fixing me up all those times and inviting me to his dojo.
Sensei Leslie - for everything (especially all of the treatments to keep me able to continue moving forward).
Sigung - for everything you've done for the art. As I said Sat., it is humbling to reflect back on how long you've been leading this motley group and how much you've done to keep the art alive.

Wow, looking at this list, reminds me of the saying "It takes a village to raise the village idiot" - or something like that.  Grin

And thanks Sempai Vic for helping get me through the test. Man it is hot in Houston!  sunny sunny sunny sunny

BTW, sorry I had to test and run - wish I could have stayed for lunch and the seminar. I didn't get to take a shower and relax until 11PM Saturday night - working on the house all day after the test was brutal. Will take all week to recover I think. sleepy2

Preparation, dreaming, reading, plans, uke-torture, is nothing compared to when you finally stand in front of Sigung and Sensei Leslie and the test begins.

What a journey.
