Check out these videos!  Some look okay, some look pretty cheesy - just my opinion.  Leslie

I wonder if Master Chu would let me use my katana in his next demo.  I'm afraid he WOULD stick to it but in a not so pleasent way.  Clearly his assistant has no clue or training in the use of the Japanese sword since he appears to be using like a jian.

I'd have to give these vids:  Tongue Tongue  right up there with the Dillman demos.

Some of the other are interesting though.

I have to agree with Steven. You can use a crescent wrench like a hammer, but that is not the way it was meant to be used. Sensii used to get really mad at guys like this. Kind of like me and some of the American Martial Arts, or Nathan and some of the Chinese self defense arts. Chi is not meant to know down a bunch of dominos. Neither is it meant so "Stick" to a sword. It is actually meant to put you somewhere other than the blade of that sword. It was meant to give you the strength to continue when the norm would say give up. It was meant to focus intensity and power, so a small amount of strength was that is necessary to accomplish a goal. Chi is actually a Taoist principle and what is the main goal, is to make you aware of changes around you, and with little effort exploit those changes (stances, balance, weight, emotion, movement). It gives the illusion of stability, but really we all know that stability is only the illusion of changing at the same rate as change. Example. When the Tai Chi master pushes down 30 people. It is the same as pushing down one, thirty times. Is a chain stable? only when it is pulled. Stability is in the structure of the known device. A chain is very strong when pulled so one link locks into another. I would like to see if the Tai Chi master could pull all those people forward, like a tug of war. Pushing one into the other, is nothing at all. Putting the hand on the back of a sword, or stopping it from being returned in nothing. Stop it from cutting, now that is a test. violent1

Yep Sensii would have screamed on those demos.
